Farm Systems Engineer
As a member of the engineering team, you will collaborate with engineers and scientists to develop systems that will revolutionize agriculture. Your task will be to design, evaluate, and improve the farm layout and process flow for optimum operational efficiency. This is a highly creative role and you will be intimately involved with the engineers in all stages of project execution from concept, design, and prototyping to building, testing and maintenance of these systems.
- Manage the development & building of Farms of various technologies (e.g. indoor farms, greenhouses)
- Design components & coordinate the fabrication of parts through the identification, development & management of supplier relations
- Work closely with contractors & suppliers performing engineering services & farm construction
- Work closely with the Project team to deploy sensors, automation & control systems
- Work with operation team to deploy farming solutions to increase productivity & efficiency
- Build & create farming systems & solutions from product concept to design, prototyping, building, testing, iteration & maintenance
- Manage Engineering projects with other departments
- Diploma / Bachelors in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience
- Ability to learn & understand the workings of a broad range of hardware & software
- Ability to communicate designs verbally & through CAD software, 3D CAD software, engineering drawings & sketches
- Possess strong troubleshooting & analytical skills to resolve technical issues
- Comfortable with operating machinery such as bench saws, drills & other tooling equipment for prototyping & testing purposes
- Practice conceiving, designing, executing & using hardware for IoT projects
- Experience with design of electrical circuitry for pumps, motors & lighting systems & configuration of electronics hardware for sensing & automation
- Experience with power electronics, microcontrollers & analog circuit design will be an added advantage
Project Sales Manager (Johor Bahru)
The Project Sales Manager will be responsible for driving and managing project sales for Archisen’s commercial farming solutions and consultancy services within Malaysia. This includes developing sales strategies, forecasting revenue, ensuring profit growth, and overseeing market analysis and pricing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics, enabling them to make data-driven decisions that drive business growth.
- Responsible for project sales efforts in Malaysia, focusing on pitching and securing urban farm solutions and consultancy projects with investors, growers, property owners, and key stakeholders in the food industry.
- Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to increase market penetration and achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities, set sales targets, and monitor industry trends. Analyse monthly sales outcomes and prepare reports for senior management.
- Lead, train, and develop a high-performing project sales team. Ensure that all projects meet financial, quality, customer service, cost, and profitability goals.
- Expand and maintain a robust customer base by fostering positive relationships and maintaining strong rapport with key customers. Identify and develop new customer opportunities.
- Collaborate with partners to drive revenue growth and identify new business opportunities.
- Present project quotations, lead the tender process and oversee site selections and inspections. Ensure that customer issues are promptly addressed and that farming solutions are implemented effectively.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and project execution.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project-related sales, preferably within the Agritech industry.
- Proven experience in forecasting sales and building a customer base, particularly with investors, growers, and property owners.
- Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and the ability to analyse and translate market needs into actionable business strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive problem-solver with a strong ability to influence and drive results.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
- In-depth knowledge of the Agritech industry and a well-established professional network in Malaysia is highly advantageous.

Sales Manager
We are looking for a proactive and independent individual to support our Head of Sales and Marketing in driving business growth. You will play a key role in identifying leads, managing client relationships, and closing B2B deals for Archisen’s farming systems and solutions. This role is ideal for someone with strong initiative and interest in urban agriculture, agritech, or sustainability sectors.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new B2B sales opportunities, especially in the urban farming and agritech space.
- Support the Head of Sales in all aspects of the sales cycle – including proposals, follow-ups, presentations, and negotiations.
- Prepare project sales quotations, respond to RFPs, and manage sales documentation.
- Follow up closely on inbound and outbound sales leads to ensure timely engagement and conversion.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and generate regular sales activity reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Technology, marketing, operations) to deliver customised solutions to clients.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, developers, property owners, and government agencies.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Agriculture, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in technology, sustainability, or agritech industries.
- Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline and close deals independently.
- Prior experience in urban farming, indoor farming, or controlled environment agriculture will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of vertical farming systems, automation, or sustainable technologies will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills – able to present solutions clearly and build trust.
- Highly self-motivated, organised, and responsive – comfortable working in a lean, fast-paced environment
Senior Business Development Manager (Experience in Fresh Produce)
This role is responsible for driving and managing sales for Archisen’s vegetable products. The candidate will provide leadership and direction to the team, aligning marketing and product development efforts with industry trends and executing them alongside the sales team.
Key responsibilities include developing sales strategies, forecasting revenue, ensuring profit growth, and overseeing market analysis and pricing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics, enabling them to make data-driven decisions that drive business growth.
- Contribute to the overall strategy of Just Produce, supporting its long-term growth and positioning within the industry.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share, drive revenue, and strengthen customer relationships.
- Set and achieve revenue targets, manage budgets, and track key performance metrics.
- Provide leadership to the Sales team, implementing frameworks and processes such as the sales pipeline and pricing master list to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs, pursue new sales prospects, negotiate deals, and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to enhance brand presence, develop promotional campaigns, and support sales initiatives.
- Work with the Product Development team to identify and commercialize new product opportunities.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain and Farming teams to align production, inventory management, and sales fulfillment.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (or equivalent experience) preferred.
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in business development, sales, and marketing with a strong focus on product knowledge.
- Experience working in startups and local companies.
- Proven ability to drive sales and manage key accounts within Modern Trade channels, while also having experience coordinating with other channels such as HORECA, Online Retail, B2B, and B2C
- Strong ability to deliver compelling sales pitches and product presentations.
- Proactive mindset, with the ability to work independently and implement best practices in the absence of set policies or procedures.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multi-cultural teams.
